Me and my boyfriend have been together for a few months and initially what we had wasn’t supposed to blossom into the relationship we currently have now but it did anyways! but that’s not the story-

I was half-asleep in bed with my boyfriend on monday morning and usually I’ll be sitting up beside him while he’s asleep but I found myself in his arms facing him.

I live in the postgraduate apartments that my university has and he comes to stay with me every now and then… well- on monday morning I could slowly hear the caretaker on the side of the apartment where my front door is mowing the grass between my building and the building in front of me. You can rarely hear the outside world when you enter my apartment so it’s not too loud when I’m in bed.

Well the caretaker had moved to the grass patch beside my apartment windows where my bed is and whenever the lawn mower went past, he gently put his hands over my ears so that I couldn’t hear him going past.

I thought it was the cutest small gesture anyone could have done for me and my love for him just grew a little more. I haven’t told him I love him yet but I’m probably going to sometime soon.

Also - this is the first boyfriend I’ve had since I was 14 and I’m 22 now! So… haven’t felt this way in a while. That’s it for now- will probably post more little stories about him later :’)
